Remembering: AAD Charity Run - Part 1

This was the clubs first attempt at giving back to the community. The chosen charity was a Youth Outreach Center in Stellenbosch. The guys came out in numbers to support the club. We met up at Kuils River Macdonalds - in the parking bays.

The guys had time to meet with new members attending for the first time. There was a miss communication between the club and the Youth Centre so they were not informed about our donation. We then tracked down a hospice and donated all the things we had to them. When the delivery of the books, clothes, stationary and can goods was completed we went to braai at Jonkershoek, where guys could relax with family and friends.

Here's the first pictures of the "meet-up" in Kuils River.
This was the 1st time my 510 came out with the club with its automatic gearbox still in place (Byron)

Wayne Johnson (Doc) very nice 160z with 2.4 motor with side draughts - sound AMAZING!

Skilanski Flandorf's BRE themed Stanza with 17" Lenso BSX still riding high - soon to be lowered.

Marco Welcomets 510 has a nice touch with (OEM) SX wheels - Keep it in the family!

Very original Stanza - unsure of the owner - but hope to see it again at future events!

Phillip Pienaar's Y with a dazzle Datsun theme

Zahied Sangley's 1200 GX

Jonathan Isaacs 1200 with mean suspension setup. Really like the custom coilover setup - and its HOME MADE!

John McKay's 510 - Really like the wheels, gives USDM look!

Martin's Coupe and Darren's 4-Door

Martin's engine bay gleaming in the sun. This ride always has spectators!
The car had a Speed and Sound feature a few months ago - it could be one of the best coupes we have!

Zain with his peach 510 (boxy)

Pre-convoy meeting was held to put some rules in place, speed we will be driving and the route we would use.

We pulled over along the road to regroup and make sure everyone was together.

After the above pic we headed toward Stellenbosch. Those images will follow in Part 2.
(Thanks to John McKay for supplying the above pictures)
