AAD First Park-off

Lately everyone is on about stance, not that there is anything wrong with it, its a different stroke for a different folk of car enthusiast. The younger generation think old skool as MKI Golfs, well here something a little bit further back. My afternoon was brought to life when I stepped out of the car after arriving at the location. For those who know me, I'm a really old skool person, and when it comes to cars the Datsun 510 is 1 of those cars amongst only a handful of cars which i personally like. I was honoured to be asked to do some coverage of the event as it was the 1st Major Datsun Meet. As a student of old school it was a real honor to me standing so close to legends of the street and the track. The Datsun 510 is arguably 1 of the nicest cars ever build.
Who needs body lines when its "boxy", who needs curves when you have a straight line running along the body. The variety on display was superb, ranging from projects, street machines, customs and restorations. some of the cars are often seen at shows around the Cape Town area, but I think they are best complimented when standing amongst their own kind. The phrase "birds of a feather...
