AAD Family Picnic

AAD Family... Its been a while since we had a friendly get together (and update per the blog). Let this be a start for us again.

Come Friday, 1st of May 2015 we plan a Family Picnic at Nantes Park (behind Vangate Mall) from 10:00am. Bring the whole family. (No Braai facilities are unfortunately available). We could maybe meet at the Mall beforehand.

As always a meeting will be held to update all on developments / feedback and other discussions.

PLEASE NOTE: Only positive vibes will be allowed so leave any negativity at home.

The 17-hectare park is ideal for picnics, leisurely walks, playing sport, skateboarding and simply enjoying the beauty of Cape Town. The picturesque Vygekraal River, which runs through the natural riverside park, plays an integral role in adding to the overall character and charm of Nantes Park, and forms part of a broader network of river greenbelts that serves the Athlone, Kewtown, Vanguard Estate and Heideveld communities. The skateboard and BMX area is one of the most popular with local youth, as it helps keep them active and fit, and assists in preventing anti-social behaviour.
